Client Welcome + Homework Guide
Branding Questionnaire
Creative Direction & Strategy Document
Logo + Brand Design
2 Pieces of Designed Collateral
OPTIONAL
Extra Collateral Items

Creative Direction & Strategy
In the beginning stages of every project, I like to put together a creative direction & strategy document, which is basically a summary of your goals, your audience + how we can use design to speak to them.
Logo + Brand Design
Includes primary & secondary logo, color palette, and font system.
Brand Collateral
Brand Collateral includes items used to promote your brand and connect with your audience. Two designed items are included with the package and choices typically include business cards, stationery, social media templates, merch items, product packaging, things like that. If more than 2 items are needed, you can pick and a fee for those items will be added.
Brand Style Guide
A detailed guide on how to use your brand consistently and intentionally.
The process
Working Together
Insight
After you sign your contract + pay your deposit, I’ll send over a welcome packet and questionnaire for you to fill out. In the questionnaire, we’ll be thinking about your goals, your audience, and the things that set your business apart from the rest.
Strategy
We’ll outline your project goals, ways to connect with your audience and visual inspiration to guide us through the design process. Basically, this step helps us make sure we’re on the same page before I start sketching ideas.
Create
I’ll present my 3 strongest concepts for the logo, each one highlighting a different aspect of your business. From here, we’ll narrow it down to 1 or 2 concepts that feel right + would connect the most with your audience.
Refine
At this stage, I’ll present refined versions of the concepts and we’ll dive deeper to explore color and typography. This is where we’ll really try to envision how each concept would work in real life. If we still need to refine, we can. Otherwise, I’ll share final files and put everything in a guide.
Launch
Next, we’ll create the collateral pieces that you’ve chosen to include. If you need them to be editable, I’ll create them as templates that you can use again and again. And if you need help communicating with printers for printed collateral, I’m happy to help so you can get everything ordered & ready.
Thrive
If you have ongoing questions about your branding & collateral or need help editing your items later on, I’ll be available to support via email or through an hourly rate for ongoing design.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are You Booking New Clients?
Yes! I’m currently booking out website, branding, and branding + website projects. If interested, please have a look at my services page and send an inquiry through my contact page. I’m excited to hear from you!
How Do Payments Work?
Working with a designer is a big investment, so I offer simple payment plans. First, you'll pay a 40% deposit to reserve your spot in my schedule. From there, we'll schedule the rest into 1 or 2 payments. Payments can be made by bank transfer, debit/credit, or Paypal.
How Soon Can We Start?
My availability varies throughout the year, but I typically book projects 1-3 months in advance. To get an idea of current availability, fill out my client inquiry form. We can talk details over the phone afterwards.
Do you work with web platforms other than Squarespace?
I occasionally do Wordpress for more complex projects but adore Squarespace and think it’s a stylish and user-friendly option for clients to self-manage. I love playing with Squarespace, and I think you will too!
Do You Offer A La Carte Options?
My intention is to provide clients with a cohesive web development and/or brand design service, so I mainly offer all-inclusive project packages. For some minor things I’ll consider work at an hourly rate.
Have a different question?
No worries, working with a designer is a process and there's a lot that you need to know before taking the leap! If you have any other questions about my services or process, I’m happy to answer them. You can send me questions via email.
